Winter Camp Party
Acorns, owls, reindeer, & snow adorn tabletops for this winter camp party in December. The theme fits perfectly in my sister's wooded five acre backyard already equipped with a huge fire pit for roasting s'mores in the evening. S'mores cupcakes topped with glow-in-the-dark animals await guests. My sister's artwork is displayed in her many homemade camp signs throughout her backyard.
She created mossy outdoor lighting with Christmas lights, a hula hoop, and some moss found in the backyard. Water was topped with red berries, lime slices, and mint leaves for added color and flavor. The menu was simple: pulled pork sliders, beef hot dogs, crockpot mac n cheese, potato salad, and beans.
She created a craft table to keep the kids entertained as well as a fish bobber she made out of paper mache' which was used as a pinata. But what's a camp party without hot cocoa and s'mores? Piping hot cocoa was ready with toppings of each guest's choice including marshmallows and whipped cream. Guests also had everything they needed to create warm and toasty s'mores. A fun night was had by all-especially the birthday boy who turned seven and all of his many friends! Just a little inspiration for your next camp party! Looking for camping party printables?
