Getting Your Kids to Eat Healthy

Getting Your Kids to Eat Healthy

I was recently contacted by a member of the Social Media Team for Chobani Yogurt.  He asked me to write a post about healthy eating for children for their Chobani Kids Project. {You too can write your own blog post.  Just check out #ChobaniKids project.} {By the way, I am not being compensated for this post in any way.}  Chobani recently launched a new line of Greek Yogurts for kids.  Chobani's Greek Yogurt contains "only natural ingredients that are not genetically modified, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, no preservatives, is made with milk from cows not treated  with hormones like rBST, gluten free, and has less than 5% lactose."
Getting your kids to eat healthy does not have to be hard! With some quick and easy recipes, your kids will gobble up these healthy snacks! I made both of these frozen treats this afternoon in about 30 minutes and placed them in the freezer for dessert tonight.  The results were a success! My five year old son ate dinner quickly in order to gobble up these special treats! And he was eating healthy! A win win for parents!

Orange Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Teaspoon pure Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cups organic Orange Juice
1/4 cup organic Milk (I used reduced fat)
1/2 cup Chobani Kids Greek Yogurt (use whatever flavor your kids like)

Blend in blender and pour into your popsicle mold.  Freeze for at least 6 hours.  Eat & enjoy! {This makes a tasty smoothie by the way! I drank the leftovers that did not fit in my popsicle mold!}

Ingredients:

Organic Raspberries, washed & dried
1 cup Chobani Kids Greek Yogurt (use whatever flavor your kids like)

Put Greek Yogurt in a bowl.  Place one raspberry at a time in bowl and cover raspberry with Greek Yogurt using a spoon.  Place on parchment covered baking sheet.  Repeat with all raspberries.  Put baking sheet in freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours.  Eat & enjoy!
